History

We saw Solstice Sojourn at only 2 hours old and knew we had to have her. This simply spectacular mare exudes presence with her 15.1+ height, extreme and high set neck, and bold floating trot that catches the eyes of the judges. With very limited showing Solstice has qualified for Region X in consecutive years.

Although not shown at Regionals in 2003 while in the midst of a growing spurt, we look forward to her appearance in 2004.

Solstice is by the Canadian Futurity Top 10 stallion JOURNEEY, an Eternity son and out of MC NAYLA, an Arabest Aziz (x El Halimaar) daughter out of a Nabiel daughter. This girl is a born show horse who has placed near or at the top of her class most every time.

Solstice has a strong take notice of me trot and her long upright neck on her 15 HH+ at 3 years old body would give her a presence in the ring all her own that is hard to miss. She has qualified for regionals each of the last 2 years with limited showing and will be shown at the 2004 Region X Show.

Solstice has also been a representative for her dams ribbons for Produce of Dam. SWEEPSPAKES NOMINATED.

Solstice is bred in to the Thee Desperado son, THEE HOMBRE a leading juvenile sire for a 2005 MAAB futurity auction/select futurity foal. This should be an exciting foal!

Solstice Sojourn is a Halter Winner/Western and English prospect. Solstice is not available for sale at this time, however is bred to Thee Hombre for a January MAAB Auction 2005 FOAL which will be available FOR SALE.

Breeding

Solstice Sojourn – 2000 Bay 15H+ Mare by Journeey (X Eternity) and out of our wonderful producing MC Nayla. Solstice has an extreme neck and big bold moving trot and wonderful top line.

In the show ring she eludes a presence all her own reflecting on her bloodlines that include Eternity, El Halimaar, and Nabiel. Solstice is bred to the THEE Desperado son and Padron Grandson, Thee Hombre, for a 2005 MAAB futurity and Sweepstakes foal.

With Thee Hombre’s big movement and ability to produce winning foals and Solstice’s presence this foal seems destined to be a winner and read like a who’s who pedigree with Eternity, Thee Desperado, El Halimaar, and Padrons.
